Projector Mounts Ceiling projector mounts
Projector ceiling mounts and projector wall mounts are used to hang your projector from the ceiling or wall. There are 2 basic types of projector ceiling mounts and projector wall mounts: custom (also referred to model specific) and universal.
Custom projector ceiling mounts or projector wall mounts are made specifically for a projector. They have several holes (usually 3 or 4) in them which correspond to the mounting holes of the projector. The mounting holes are found on the bottom of the projector, since it must be inverted for mounting. Custom projector ceiling mounts and projector wall mounts are usually very easy to install and save time when installing since they are made to be mounted right out of the box without the need for adjusting the mounting hole pattern.
Universal projector ceiling mounts or projector wall mounts are designed to work with many different projectors and can be adjusted to fit many different mounting hole patterns. They generally take a little more time to assemble and install, but are very versatile since they will work with many different projectors.

The differences between the different mounts are as follows:
1000 Series - Projector plate is a full 1/8" aluminum plate with threaded spacers
2000 Series - Projector plate is 1/4" aluminum and is designed with a minimum of surface area for maximum airflow.
Premium Series - Exactly the same as 1000 series except it also includes a 6" to 9" extension kit and a FREE upgrade certificate.
Elite Series - Exactly the same as the 2000 Series except it also includes a 6" to 9" extension kit and a FREE upgrade certificate.
